Our story
Beautiful, by definition
Krasna means beautiful in the old Slavic languages — and in those languages, the same root gave the words for red, for precious, for the best room in the house. Beauty wasn't decoration; it was the thing you kept closest.
We started Krasna because Indian jewellery lives at two impossible poles: real gold you lock away and worry about, or fast fashion that turns your skin green by the third wear. The middle — pieces beautiful enough to love and tough enough to ignore — barely existed. So we built it.
Every Krasna piece starts as 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, the alloy used in medical implants, chosen because skin trusts it. The 18k gold tone is applied by PVD — physical vapour deposition — which bonds colour to metal in a vacuum chamber, atom by atom. It is many times harder than electroplating. It doesn't peel, flake or tarnish; it just wears, the way good things should.
We design in small collections of five, price honestly between ₹999 and ₹3,299, and write down where every claim comes from. Waterproof means shower-proof. Skin-safe means nickel-safe and lead-free. Anti-tarnish means we back it with a one-year plating warranty, in writing.
Wear it in the sea. Wear it to the sangeet. Wear it while doing dishes. That's the whole point.
