Vana Luxe Jhumkas

Vana takes the jhumka's essential music — dome, fringe, sway — and strips the excess. A spun 16mm bell hangs from a crystal stud, edged with a single row of seed-bead fringe that moves like the traditional form at a third of the weight. Festive enough for a sangeet, calm enough for a work dinner: the jhumka that finally commutes.

Jhumkas are two thousand years old; temple dancers wore them because they move with music. Most modern versions add filigree until the shape drowns. We removed detail until only the bell and the sway remained — then stopped. Vana means forest: something old, alive, and never overdressed.

316L surgical-grade stainless steel with 18k gold-tone PVD plating, hand-set AAA cubic zirconia. Nickel-safe, lead-free, hypoallergenic. Anti-tarnish and waterproof.
