Nova Rope Chain

Rope chains sparkle more than any other link because every segment is a tiny mirror set at a new angle — Nova's 3mm spiral packs over six hundred of them into 55cm. It's the chain to wear when the chain is the jewellery: bright under office lighting, incandescent under evening light. Strong out of proportion to its width; ropes share load across the whole braid.

The rope is the oldest chain we make — Egyptian goldsmiths braided them four thousand years ago, by hand, for months. Machines braid Nova in minutes, but the geometry is unchanged because it can't be improved: a helix catches light at every degree of a turn. Some designs finish early.

316L surgical-grade stainless steel with 18k gold-tone PVD plating. Nickel-safe, lead-free, hypoallergenic. Anti-tarnish and waterproof by construction, not by coating that rubs off.

Wipe with the soft cloth included in your Krasna box after wear. Put jewellery on after perfume and lotion have dried. Store in the pouch, away from direct sunlight. PVD plating is water-friendly — showers and handwashing are fine; avoid chlorinated pools.
